In the heart of the Périgord noir !
Situated in the world’s Prehistory capital, Hotel Le Centenaire was a former post office. The hotel was renovated and renamed “Le Centenaire” in 1968, 100 years after the discovery of the first prehistorical site: Cro-Magnon man. The building combines the warmth of a family home with the elegance of a charming hotel.
Ideally situated in the heart of the lovely commune of Les Eyzies, the hotel’s doors are open to welcome you from February, 1st through to November, 30th.
The establishment, taken over in 2017 by the Chef Mathieu Metifet and his wife Chloé, saw the end of total renovations in 2021. With its 19 unique rooms, we promise you an unforgettable stay. On the grounds you can find a large heated swimming pool (from early May until the end of September), and shady and quiet terraces. In the main building you will have access to the lounge bar and 2 restaurants: La Table du Centenaire, a gastronomic restaurant recommended in the MICHELIN Guide France 2024, and Chez Chloé (bistro, open from May to September). Finally, you can also find a private and secure car park and upon request a seminar room or your meetings.
Our reception desk is at your disposal 7 days a week from 8:00am to 9:00pm.
From May to September, enjoy live music concerts:
Every Wednesday and Sunday at the Bistro Chez Chloé
