Hôtel
& Restaurants du Centenaire
Today Tuesday 25 March 2025
In the heart of the Périgord noir !
Located in the world capital of Prehistory, the hotel, formerly a postal relay station, was expanded and renamed Le Centenaire in 1968, marking 100 years since the discovery of the first prehistoric site: the Cro-Magnon Man. The building combines the warmth of a family-style home with the elegance of a charming boutique hotel. Ideally located in the picturesque village of Les Eyzies, the hotel-restaurant welcomes guests from February 1st to November 30th.
Taken over in 2017 by Chef Mathieu Métifet and his partner Chloé, the Hotel completed its full renovation in 2021. With 19 unique designed rooms, Le Centenaire promises an unforgettable stay. Within its lush grounds, you’ll find a large heated swimming pool (open from early May to late September) and peaceful and quiet terraces. The hotel also features a lounge bar and two dining options: La Table du Centenaire (a gastronomic restaurant recommended in the MICHELIN Guide France 2024) and Chez Chloé (a bistro open from February to November). Finally, we offer a private secured parking lot and, upon request, a seminar room for your meetings.
Our reception team is available 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
